A Christmas Gift for You

Hello, my friend! Merry Christmas!

It was about halfway through Christmas day that I realized just how grateful I was. Grateful that I could spend it with my daughters and my wife. Grateful that I’ve been given opportunities to help people, even in little ways. Grateful that, for the first time in three years, I was healthy for Christmas. Grateful that I was alive at all. And grateful for you, my friend. I am so thankful for my friends, my family, the people in my life. And if you’re reading this, you’re counted in that list.

I felt like I wanted to give you something for Christmas, so I made this video. I originally posted it on Facebook, but just in case you don’t get on Facebook or missed it I wanted to make sure you got a chance to see it, too. I realize it’s a little late, but I hope you still enjoy it. It’s a dramatic reading from my book “The Complete Cancer Diaries,” called “In the Bleak Midwinter.”

This excerpt is the first part of a series. If you want to read the rest of the series, you can read part two, “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” here, and part three, “Advent,” here.  You can also get the complete book if you haven’t yet (in eBook or print) by going here.

One other thing I was thinking of, though, before I let you go.  If you’d be interested in maybe reviewing my book on Amazon, I’d like to send you a free copy of my eBook.  Just let me know through a comment or email, and I’ll send it right over.  (Don’t have a Kindle?  No worries.  There are Kindle readers for Apple, Windows and Android, including PC’s.)  I just really want you to have the chance to read it if you haven’t yet.  So let me know.  =)

God bless you, my friend.   Merry Christmas.  May you have a truly miraculous 2016, and I can’t wait to talk to you again soon.
