Back in October of last year I was invited to talk to the Puyallup chapter of Aglow International. I had recorded the whole thing on my little GoPro, but then it just kind of sat there. And sat there. Until now.
This weaves together my story with Psalms 42-43 and some thoughts on hope. I call it “The Audacity of Hope (Because You Can’t Copyright a Title)”. No, really. That’s the title. Are there some mildly snarky references in the video’s splash image to a certain bestseller written by a certain president? … Maybe. Or maybe I have no idea what you’re talking about. =D
If the video above doesn’t show up for you, here’s another one:
And just in case you still don’t see the video, you can find it on YouTube right here.
I hope you enjoy it. Sorry the video and audio quality are slightly subpar. It’s kind of long, too (22 minutes approximately,) but what with it being a live talk with one camera I didn’t feel I could edit it too much.
Let me know what you think! Also, if you happen to have an event or group that you would like me to speak at or to, drop me a line and let me know. I’d be happy to come visit you. 😉
Last of all, just because I mentioned it in the video, the link to my book is right here.
God bless you until next time, my friend!
