Introducing “The Cancer Diaries”!

I’ve been talking about it for what seems like (and could really be) months.  And it’s still not done (at least the audio book.)

But I can’t wait any longer.  So, without further ado, here it is.

I would like to introduce you to “The Cancer Diaries: A Story of Wonder, Darkness and Hope”.

This is a collection of writings mainly taken from this very website.  However, as the subtitle suggests, it is also more than that: it is a story about peace, hope, courage, suffering, darkness and light, to name a few.  It’s about never giving up.  It’s about free will and destiny.  It’s about miracles, and what happens when a miracle doesn’t seem to work out the way you thought it would.  And it’s about wonder.  Wonder at the world we live in, and wonder at the God whose fingerprints we see stamped all over our everyday lives.

It is my story.  But I strongly suspect that it will end up being your story, too.  Why?  Because we all head into the darkness and the storm at some point in our lives.  The question really isn’t if we’re going in: the question is, will we find the light to guide us through once we’re there.

My prayer is that this little book serves to illuminate some of that path for you.  Barring that, I hope it throws this human experience into view in a way that perhaps you haven’t seen it before.  Who knows, maybe you’ll even feel the whisper of awe tickle the hairs on your neck.

There are several versions of the book that you can buy.  Here’s a short list:

Print (Amazon): $11.99

Kindle (Amazon): $2.99

Nook and ePub (Barnes & Noble): $2.99

If you prefer a different store, it’s also available at Kobo, iTunes (sorry, I couldn’t find a web link for this one – just check in iTunes if you feel so inclined), Smashwords and many others.  Take your pick.  (Side note: if you buy the print version, you can get the Kindle version for $.99.)

It will also be available on audio book, as I’ve mentioned previously.  That version is, unfortunately, not done yet, but when it is I’ll let you know.  It’ll be out on Audible and iTunes.  It’s shaping up to possibly be my favorite version, but all good things to those who wait, I suppose.

Don’t have any money to throw at a copy of the book?  No worries.  You can also get it for absolutely FREE as a PDF.

All you have to do is fill in your first name and email address in the box below!

(As an added bonus — or curse, take your pick — you’ll also start getting my regular posts in your email once or twice a week.)

One last thing about this book, though: it was designed to be shared.  There’s none of the normal DRM or other junk that keeps you from sending on an eBook to a friend, for example.  So, if you like it, give it to someone who you think could use it.  (And, should you decide to write a review of it at Amazon or your preferred shopping outlet, that would be much appreciated, too.)

Thank you for taking part in this journey with us.  Whether you’re a regular to this site or if this is your first time, I consider you family and I appreciate you.  So from myself, from my wife, Sarah, from my daughters Eden and Aurora, thanks again for your part in this journey we’re on.  God bless you and keep you, until we can talk again.

So what’ll it be?  Print?  Kindle?  Nook or ePub?  Or maybe FREE PDF?  The choice is yours!  And be sure to let me know what you think of it!
